Job description

We are currently looking for someone to join our amazing team to help lead and run the Fracture Liaison service. This is a new service for our patients in Cornwall which is still expanding and needs more expert help to develop further. We are a small dedicated team which works across both the fracture liaison service and the Bone density service, giving a more cohesive service for our patients and other colleagues.


Responsibilities:
  1. Provide autonomous clinical reports on all DEXA scans as per defined scope of practice.
  2. Provide a verbal report to the Patient at the time of image acquisition when appropriate.
  3. Support the delivery of all DEXA examinations and procedures within DEXA and the Fracture Liaison Service.
  4. Maintain a high level of clinical and technical expertise in DEXA and Bone Health to ensure the FLS standards are maintained.
  5. Deliver training to other DEXA practitioners and Bone health speciality advisors.
  6. Act as an advisor, expert, and learning resource within the specialty.
