Experienced Florist Wanted - Unique London-Based Role

Vanta Staffing is recruiting an experienced Florist for a unique and varied position combining professional floristry with visiting prestigious client locations across London to refresh and maintain floral displays.

Previous professional floristry experience is essential for this position.

This is not simply a delivery-driving role. We are looking for someone with genuine floristry skills who understands how to create, maintain and present beautiful floral arrangements to a high standard.

Approximately three days per week will involve driving a company van into London, visiting a variety of high-end establishments to deliver, refresh and maintain their floral displays.

The remaining days will generally be spent at the company's Burnham base, preparing flowers, arrangements and displays ready for client sites.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and preparing professional floral arrangements and displays
• Refreshing and maintaining existing floral displays at client locations
• Removing and replacing flowers to ensure displays remain fresh and beautifully presented
• Driving a company van between Burnham and client sites across London
• Delivering flowers, plants, arrangements and associated equipment
• Loading and unloading the van
• Working within high-end client environments and representing the business professionally
• Liaising politely and professionally with clients while on site
• Maintaining excellent presentation standards at all times
• Keeping the van, equipment and working areas clean and organised
• Assisting with general hands-on duties at the Burnham base when required

About You

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous professional floristry experience - essential
• A good knowledge of flowers, plants and floral arrangement
• A creative eye and excellent attention to detail
• A full UK driving licence
• Confidence driving a van in and around London
• A smart, well-presented and professional manner
• Excellent reliability and timekeeping
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload
• A friendly and professional approach when dealing with clients
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular loading, unloading, carrying and moving floral displays
• Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in - this is a hands-on role and can be physically demanding
• The ability to start work at 5:00am
