JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Floral Display Removers team member in Uttoxeter to assist with removing seasonal displays from locations nationwide. You will work in pairs, travel to sites, collect planters, and return them to the Derby greenhouse for sorting and storage.

Responsibilities

• Remove seasonal floral displays (hanging baskets, window boxes, large planters) from various UK locations with a paired colleague.

• Assist with loading/unloading planters and handle manual handling throughout shifts.
• Work Sunday to Thursday, typically 4:00pm–2:00am, with shift times varying by location.

Job description

As a Floral Display Removers team member in Uttoxeter, you will support client operatives by taking down seasonal displays such as hanging baskets, window boxes, and large floor planters from locations nationwide. Working in pairs, you will travel to various sites, safely collect the planters, and return them to the greenhouse for sorting and storage. This temporary assignment begins on 20th September 2026 and offers up to £12.71 per hour. Shifts run Sunday to Thursday, with a 5:00pm start, though times vary based on planter locations and quantity. You will need to handle physical tasks and work effectively within a team.

Floral Display Removers Pay Rate: £12.71ph Location: Derby, DE65 6GY Shift Patterns: Sunday-Thursday 5 nights a week; 5pm start (Shifts times vary, dependent on planter locations and quantity) This assignment is Temporary position starting on the 20th September 2026

In this role, you will join a busy team supporting our clients operatives with the removal of seasonal floral displays from locations across the UK. Displays include hanging baskets, window boxes and large floor planters. Working in teams of two, you will travel to various sites to safely remove and collect planters before returning them to the greenhouse in Derby, where they will be emptied, sorted and prepared for storage. Working Sunday to Thursday evenings, starting at 5:00pm, you will either travel directly to the greenhouse or be picked up locally by a team member. The role involves travelling nationwide, following allocated collection routes and assisting with loading and unloading planters throughout the shift. Shift lengths can vary depending on the locations and quantity of planters scheduled for collection, with typical hours between 4:00pm and 2:00am.

Requirements

To succeed, you will need:
