Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting Floral Display Removers in Derby for a temporary assignment starting 20 September 2026. You will join a two-person team to remove seasonal displays, travel to various UK locations, and return planters to the Derby greenhouse for storage and sorting.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday with starts at 5:00pm; typical hours range from 4:00pm to 2:00am. Weekly pay and potential permanent opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a full valid UK Driving Licence.
• Experience driving a Luton box van is essential.
• Be physically fit as the role is demanding.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Capable of working safely in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removal of floral displays from sites across the UK.
• Travel nationwide with a small team to collect planters and return them to Derby greenhouse.
• Load and unload planters as required during shifts.
• Work in pairs or small teams to ensure safe handling and efficient operations.

Floral Display Removers

Pay Rate: £12.71ph
Location: Derby, DE65 6GY
Shift Patterns: Sunday-Thursday 5 nights a week; 5pm start (Shifts times vary, dependent on planter locations and quantity)
This assignment is Temporary position starting on the 20th September 2026

In this role, you will join a busy team supporting our clients operatives with the removal of seasonal floral displays from locations across the UK. Displays include hanging baskets, window boxes and large floor planters. Working in teams of two, you will travel to various sites to safely remove and collect planters before returning them to the greenhouse in Derby, where they will be emptied, sorted and prepared for storage.

Working Sunday to Thursday evenings, starting at 5:00pm, you will either travel directly to the greenhouse or be picked up locally by a team member. The role involves travelling nationwide, following allocated collection routes and assisting with loading and unloading planters throughout the shift. Shift lengths can vary depending on the locations and quantity of planters scheduled for collection, with typical hours between 4:00pm and 2:00am.

To succeed, you will need:

• Hold a full valid UK Driving License
• Experience of driving a luton box van is essential
• To be physically fit as this role is very demanding
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Capable of working safely
• Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service
