Job description

Position: Syncros Entrance Matting Installer

About the role

We are seeking experienced Floor layers to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various flooring products, PVC systems, sheet materials, and subfloor preparation using screed and latex products.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install a wide range of entrance matting materials to specific requirements.
• Remove existing flooring and dispose of it efficiently and responsibly.
• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing surfaces to ensure a quality finish.
• Ensure installations are carried out to customer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Skills and Requirements

• Certifications: CSCS card with a skilled worker (blue card) in entrance matting and matwell framing being an advantage.
• Driving: A full valid UK clean driving license, held for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes.
• Experience: Entrance matting installer or multi-skilled floor layer familiar with entrance matting products and subfloor preparation.
• Technical Skills: Experience with hand and power tools including jigsaw, plunge saw, grinders, and drills.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for finishing details and high standards.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges during installations.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for client and colleague interactions.
• Flexibility: Ability to work various days, nights, and some overnight stays.
