Job Description:

At Gymshark, our mission is to Unite the Conditioning Community. We do this by bringing together the Gymshark family whether it be through a love of conditioning, wearing our product, following our Athletes or viewing content across our various social platforms.

In October, the 10th year of our existence, we opened our very first Retail Store - a Flagship on London's prestigious Regent St.

Now Gymshark is expanding with another permanent location in Westfield, Stratford, and we're hiring!

Working in our Westfield, Stratford store you'll play a pivotal part in bringing Gymshark to life in real life. Our community and customers are our family, so we treat them as such. We create a safe space where everyone belongs and feels welcome.

The Floor Manager, known internally as Team Leader, is essential for the seamless running of our store. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll support the team to bring Gymshark to life, building a hyper-localized and fully engaged community.

To thrive in this role, you must be passionate about the brand and our mission. You should inspire, guide, and encourage the team to create a great experience for all visitors.

You will have ownership of one of our two key pillars: Customer or Operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Represent the Gymshark culture and values, be a natural brand ambassador, and be passionate about the community and their experience
  • Support the overall day-to-day running and strategic execution of the store
  • Identify and share opportunities within your pillar and for the wider business
  • Support hiring, developing, and leading a diverse, passionate team
  • Deliver training, create learning opportunities, and support personal and professional growth
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback
  • Strive to achieve KPIs for your pillar through passionate leadership and coaching
  • Be a role model for brand, customer experience, product knowledge, and operational best practices
  • Support the safety of our people, customers, and community, and manage physical assets
  • Assist with store projects as needed
  • Nurture and grow your local network
  • Bring fun and energy to your work every day

Within the Customer pillar, duties include:

  • Lead and protect an exceptional customer experience
  • Be an expert on the customer journey and educate customers about Gymshark
  • Drive NPS results and support customer retention
  • Build relationships with community members and support the team in this

Within the Operations pillar, duties include:

  • Support a seamless commerce experience
  • Manage stock, conduct audits, and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain high standards and safety
  • Support store processes and sustainability commitments
