Job Description:

The Floor Manager will oversee the conference and banqueting operations, ensuring successful event execution, client satisfaction, and staff management.

Job Type: Full Time, 45 hours

Hourly Rate: £15.01

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organise, and deliver conference and banqueting events, focusing on internal operations.
  • Coordinate with events and sales departments to meet client expectations.
  • Brief and supervise the events team during events.
  • Meet clients upon arrival, ensuring their requirements are met and communicating any changes.
  • Train staff to adhere to standards, including casual labour.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, reception, and other departments to ensure quality service.
  • Ensure staff are well-groomed and dressed appropriately.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in people management.
  • Excellent product knowledge (food and beverage).
  • Experience in managing large events and dinners.
  • Professional demeanor and leadership by example.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, supportive team player with good time management and customer care skills.
