Job summary

BaxterStorey in the UK is seeking a Floor Manager to lead a busy hospitality team across restaurant and coffee outlets. You will motivate staff, ensure service excellence and manage day-to-day operations to meet brand standards and guest expectations.

You will develop training plans, monitor KPIs, control costs and budgets, and coordinate annual marketing plans. The role requires an inspiring leader who delivers great customer experiences while maintaining Health & Safety and finance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of all retail spaces including restaurant and the coffee outlets.
• Manages direct reports to ensure day-to-day operations standards are met.
• Assist in producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on service analysis and marketing effectiveness; adhere to KPIs and manage non-compliance.
• Develops goals and plans to prioritise and delegate when required, organise workload.
• Assess staff performance to identify training needs and development potential.
• Control costs and work towards budget and financial targets with constant performance monitoring.
• Ensure legal compliance in Health & Safety and finance within departments.
• Drive innovation in product and stay updated with industry trends and sustainability.
• Develop coordinated annual marketing plan with outlets and ensure signage is displayed correctly.
• Ensure excellent customer service, assess customer experience and implement improvements.
• Monitor customer feedback, handle complaints and resolve issues with timely action plans.
• Compile training and development plans for department heads to ensure high training standards.

Job Description

• Make a continuous assessment of the performance of all staff under supervision to establish training needs and development potential.
• Control cost and work towards/exceeding budget and achieving financial targets/forecasts constant monitoring of performance.
• Ensure all legal compliance is followed within the departments, such as Health & Safety procedures and finance.
• Drive constant innovation with regards to product, staying up to date with trends in industry driving sustainability and provenance.
• Develop coordinated annual marketing plan with outlets and ensure signage is displayed correctly.
• Ensure excellent customer service, regularly assess customer experience and recommend improvements.
• Monitoring customer feedback, handling customer complaints and resolving issues with action plans in a timely manner.
• Compile training and development plans for department heads with areas of responsibility and ensure all training is completed to a high standard for all team members
