A maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Floor Layer for a project in Woking, Surrey. The role involves installing cap & cove safety flooring in a Category C Prison. Candidates must have proven experience in flooring and the ability to adapt to strict security procedures. This position offers a daily rate of £210 - £240 for a 2-3 month contract with potential ongoing work.

Rate: £210 - £240 per day
Contract: 2-3 month contract with ongoing work in other prisons
We're looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a contractor team working inside a Category C Prison in Woking. You'll be installing cap & cove safety flooring (Altro or similar) using hot welding techniques across kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, and communal areas.
All tools and materials provided. Parking on site. Work is stop-start due to security procedures, so patience and flexibility are key.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within the prison service, starting with this 2-3 month project in Woking, Surrey.
