Responsibilities include installing cap & cove safety flooring and performing hot welding techniques. Suitable candidates should have NVQ Level 2/3 in Floor Covering and be flexible, adapting to the demands of a prison environment. Floor Layer - Prison Work (Cap & Cove / Safety Flooring) – Rochester, Kent
£210 - £240 per day • 2-3 month contract with ongoing work in other prisons
We\'re looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a contractor team working inside a Category C Prison in Rochester. You\'ll be installing cap & cove safety flooring (Altro or similar) using hot welding techniques across kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, and communal areas.
All tools and materials provided. Parking on site. Work is stop-start due to security procedures, so patience and flexibility are key.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within the prison service, starting with this 2-3 month project in Rochester, Kent.
