Job summary

Duties

• Install a variety of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood.
• Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, sanding, or applying adhesives as necessary.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut and fit flooring materials according to specifications.
• Use PDA Systems.
• Work in domestic properties.
• Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment related to flooring installation.
• NVQ Level 2 in Floor laying or equivalent.
• Driver's License is essential.
