Who are Cardo Group? Cardo Group is a social housing property maintenance company. Our multi-company group provides quality, value-for-money maintenance, compliance, and retrofit services across the south west, south east, and midlands. Future plans aim to develop into a national footprint.

We are currently looking for a Floor Layer to join our trades team in Bristol.

We seek floor layers within the Bristol area who understand that much of our work is in people’s homes. We treat our valued customers as we would family, prioritizing safety and respect. We also value community involvement and aim to make a positive difference in people's lives.

The successful candidates will need experience working independently, be competent as mobile operatives, and able to organize and communicate daily tasks effectively. A good understanding of all floor types is essential, including:

• Vinyl sheet
• Cap and cove
• Vinyl tiles and latex
• Domestic floor work in properties with tenants

Other duties include:

• Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients and customers
• Attending site meetings as required
• Ensuring a safe environment for staff and residents
• Presenting a professional appearance, as we are a customer-facing business

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Construction or social housing background preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good organizational skills
• City & Guilds/NVQ or relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Teamwork skills
• Full driving license
• Ability to collaborate with outside contractors and consultants

Salary: £37,500 per year
