Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to perform floor care, cleaning, and room setup in our facilities. You will scrub, strip, and polish hard floors, vacuum and extract carpets, and assist with event setup as needed.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and comfort working from ladders. Regular duties include maintaining clean utility areas and following safety protocols, with paid time and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Lift and transport objects up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work from a ladder and in various weather conditions.
• Strong cleaning and safety practices expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing, stripping, and polishing of all floors with floor care equipment.
• Vacuuming, extraction, and spot treatments on carpet as needed.
• Move furniture for office and room rearrangements.
• Prepare and break down spaces for events and cleaning tasks.
• Informs supervisor when supplies need re-ordering; maintain clean storage areas.
• Operate and maintain floor equipment in a safe, proper manner.
