Job description

My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based near the large, industrial, thriving city of Sheffield.

Essential Criteria:

* A Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, or other relevant discipline

* Extensive commercial experience in a flood risk and/or drainage-based role

* Familiarity with planning and environmental regulations, as well as appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications within the industry

* Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other relevant software packages

* Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following skills:

* An additional, postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline

* Good written and oral communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Experience of stakeholder management
