Job description

My client, an accomplished, sustainable Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of specialists in beautiful West Yorkshire, in the North of England.

Essential Criteria:

– A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or similar discipline

– Demonstrable experience of working with Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

– Good working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.), and their respective applications

– Working knowledge of TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoWorks ICM, etc.

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following:

– Experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors

– Excellent communication skills and time management

In your new role of Flood Risk Consultant, you will join a team of specialist design engineers with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve several exciting responsibilities, including:

– Developing and implementing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and producing Flood Mitigation Projects
