My client, a market-leading, innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Manchester, is searching for a Senior to manage and support a small team of flood risk specialists. Hybrid working is available. Applicants must have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and experience working for a UK-based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, drainage, or civil engineering.

This role requires drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with clients across the North West. The Senior will manage projects, promote company services, and mentor team members. The position offers the chance to lead a new team based in Leeds, managing projects, mentoring staff, and reviewing technical work related to flood risk, SuDS, drainage, natural flood management, climate change, flood alleviation, and wetland restoration schemes across the UK.

The successful candidate will expand and manage a new team, oversee projects, and check technical work. Responsibilities include managing flood alleviation schemes, wetland restoration, natural flood risk management, pollution incidents, nutrient neutrality, drainage strategies, bid proposals, and business development.
