Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join the Wimbledon team on a permanent basis. You will prepare flood risk and drainage assessments, conduct hydrological modelling, and produce technical reports, while supporting business development and client communications.

The role offers hybrid working, a clear path for career progression, and generous annual leave. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant subject.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in flood risk, drainage, hydrology or a related environmental discipline.
• Experience with drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage or AutoCAD.
• Strong technical report writing abilities.
• Confidence when communicating with clients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities within a busy consultancy environment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Ideally based in or within a commutable distance of Wimbledon.

Responsibilities

As a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
