A leading consultancy firm is looking for a flood modeller for their Warwick office, considering candidates from Sheffield or Bristol. Ideal candidates will have experience with hydraulic modelling software and a relevant degree for chartership. Qualifications

• Experience with Flow/Micro Drainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
• Familiarity with GIS software (QGIS) and Microsoft Office packages.
• At least 2 years of experience in a consultancy or flexible experience relevant to flood modelling.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic modelling using various software.
• Conduct flood risk assessments and detailed drainage design.
• Collaborate on civil engineering planning.

Due to the expansion plans of an existing team, my client is wanting to recruit a flood modeller on a permanent basis for their Warwick office (although can consider candidates in Sheffield or Bristol).

They are looking to recruit due to an increase in workload, and are keen to hire ASAP

The amount of previous experience such a candidate should have is flexible, but as a 'ball park' they would be hoping for someone with around 3-4 years experience within a similar consultancy

However, they would be willing to consider candidates with 2 or more years experience, and would also consider candidates with more experience also.

Main Duties:
· Working experience of Flow/Micro Drainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
· Working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2).
· Working experience of GIS software (QGIS).
· Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D preferred but not essential.
· Working experience of FRAs, SuDS and Pre-Planning civils.
· Working experience of detailed drainage design, and S agreements preferred but not essential.

Required Experience/Skills:
* Working experience of MicroDrainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
* Working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2).
* Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D preferred but not essential.
* Use of GIS software (QGIS) preferred but not essential.
* Working experience of FRAs, SuDS and Pre-Planning civils.
* Use of Microsoft Office software packages i.e. Excel, Word, etc.

Other Details - Training & Development:

You will be at or nearing chartership with a relevant body commensurate with your academic qualifications (i.e. CIWEM or ICE).
