Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) compliant with NPF4 (Policies 10 & 22)
  • Develop hydrological inputs using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods
  • Build and review hydraulic models (1D/2D) using Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TuFLOW
  • Translate complex model outputs into accessible and actionable insights for clients

  • A relevant degree in Geography, Environmental Management, Civil or Water Engineering
  • Proficiency with key flood modelling software (Flood Modeller, TuFLOW, ESTRY)
  • Strong understanding of SEPA requirements and national planning policy frameworks
  • Ability to write clear, technically robust reports and explain modelling decisions confidently
  • Motivation to progress professionally, ideally towards chartership (CIWEM or equivalent)

What Our Client Offers:
  • Fully remote working as standard
  • Flexible hours and work-life balance
  • Health insurance (post-probation)

This is more than a technical role - it's an opportunity to shape your consultancy career. You'll gain exposure to project ownership, mentoring, client engagement, and potentially even international workstreams. Whether you're looking to deepen your technical expertise or move into broader project and business leadership, our client provides the platform to thrive.
