Job description

My Client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Modeller who specialises in Tuflow and Hydrological Modelling to join their established Water Team based across the UK. This role offers fully remote working.

It is essential that applicants have a BSc and/or MSc and in a relevant discipline (e.g. River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology or Engineering) and have vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Hydrological Modelling and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and/or Tuflow.

This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join and support the Water Team based across the UK. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water, Environmental and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for wetland restoration, natural flood management, hydrological assessments, hydrological modelling and UK based and international projects for Local Authorities, Private Sector Clients and Consultancies.

As a Hydraulic Modeller you will be required to manage projects, mentor team members and complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Hydrological Modelling, Flood Estimation and complex Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.

You will also be expected to liaise with Clients to discuss project development. This role offers flexible working arrangement including fully flexible hours, remote working, competitive salary, training courses, benefits package and career development.
