Job summary

Discovery is recruiting Peripatetic (Floating) Support Workers to cover Taunton and surrounding areas. You will join a flexible, supportive team delivering person-centred support across multiple homes, with full training provided and opportunities for progression.

You’ll travel within the area, build relationships, and help people live independently and confidently. Salary is paid at £15.54 per hour with options for full or part‑time contracts.

Responsibilities

• Build warm, trusting relationships with people you support
• Help with activities at home and in the community
• Encourage independence and support people to achieve goals
• Assist with daily living tasks including meals, finances and personal care
• Support individuals who may have limited verbal communication or use wheelchairs
• Work with teams to provide consistent, high‑quality support
