Job summary

Discovery is seeking a Floating Support Worker in North Somerset to support adults with learning disabilities and autism across a range of homes and services. The role offers real variety, working across different settings to help people live independently and with confidence.

You’ll drive to placements, adapt to early, late and sleep-in shifts, and join a supportive team focused on meaningful, rewarding work. DBS required and full training provided.

Qualifications

• Driver with access to a car and business insurance.
• Able to travel within approx. an hour of home.
• Flexible with varied shift patterns (early, late & occasional sleep-ins).
• Able to work alternate weekends.
• No experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living, personal care and community activities.
• Build positive relationships and empower independence.
• Work across different services depending on need.
• Support individuals who may be non-verbal or use wheelchairs (full training provided).
