Location: Bristol Pay: £14.83 per hour Hours: 17:00-23:00 or 19:00-01:00 (flexible shifts)

Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? We're currently recruiting a Female Floating Support Worker to provide out-of-hours support to vulnerable individuals across Bristol, helping them live independently and with dignity.

About the Role

As a Floating Support Worker, you'll deliver essential emotional and practical support to clients in their own homes and hostels. You'll play a key role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs, helping them navigate daily challenges and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to individuals in line with their personal care plans
  • Assist with daily living tasks, promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively
  • Travel between hostels and homes across Bristol (driving essential)

What We're Looking For

  • Female applicants only (Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Previous experience in support work (preferred but not essential)
  • Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping others
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
