A leading women's support organization in Greater London is seeking a Floating Support Case Worker. This role involves risk assessments, case management for domestic violence survivors, and advocacy. Our Solace Advocacy Support Service (SASS) teams provide advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Haringey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. You will hold a caseload of service users identified as standard to medium risk, providing advice, advocacy, and onward referrals where appropriate. You will participate in our duty rota responding to enquiries and processing new referrals and line manage a volunteer.
We’re looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending gender-based violence. You will have a “can-do” approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on survivors and their children, experience of supporting survivors’ domestic including strong casework management skills.
