Salford City Council is seeking a Floating Primary Cook Supervisor based at Turnpike Depot with travel across the city. The role is permanent, part-time (27.5 hours) with term-time working.
You must hold a valid UK driving license and have supervisory catering experience, along with NVQ2/City & Guilds 706/2 and a Basic Hygiene certificate. You will cover for the Cook Supervisor and uphold high standards of service.

This position is ideal for somebody wanted to progress in their catering career.
Citywide are committed to improving the diet of young people in Salford. This post requires you to travel within the City and Greater Manchester area on a regular basis. You would be responsible for ensuring that a quality catering service is maintained whilst covering for the absence of the Cook Supervisor. Supervisory experience within a catering environment is essential, otherwise you will be supported in this role by an Area Supervisor. A high standard of food presentation, hygiene, and excellent customer care skills is also essential Possession of NVQ 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering qualification and a current Basic Hygiene certificate is essential.
