Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Rhode Island.
• Current BLS Certification required; CPR recognized.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and apply nursing process under Nurse Manager oversight.
• Identify deviations, document interventions and outcomes, and report changes.
• Provide comfort and family participation to enhance patient functioning.
• Plan care, prioritize assignments, and coordinate with health team.
• Assess emergencies, initiate response, and modify care plans accordingly.
• Maintain documentation per hospital policies and contribute to QA activities.
