Job role and requirements

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team of highly-skilled coach drivers on a full- or part-time permanent contract, based near Cambridge.

As a bus driver with Whippet, you can look forward to:

• Guaranteed 42 hours a week (full-time), with optional overtime
• National or international express coach services for our partner, Flixbus
• Drive a fleet of modern coaches

If you already have a PCV licence (category D) and valid D-CPC card, you’ll be able to get started really quickly. If you don’t, we'll support you through all the training needed to gain this valuable qualification.

We aim to provide excellent customer service and a 100% safe environment for our colleagues and customers. We’re looking for the best people to join our team providing top-quality customer service and a dependable bus network. You’ll need to be at least 21 years old and have a valid car licence (for trainees) or a PCV licence with no more than 6 penalty points (to get started straight away).
