Job summary

Avion is seeking a Flight Simulator Technician at the Avion Flight Training Centre UK, London Luton Airport. The role focuses on performing maintenance tasks for the A320 Full Flight Simulator and coordinating with the Maintenance manager to ensure reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will have relevant FSTD maintenance experience, be able to undergo training, and either run QTGs or complete a required course. The position follows a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern at the UK site.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in maintenance tasks on FSTD.
• Willing to undergo training from a Maintenance Manager or a senior Flight Simulator Technician.
• Ability to perform QTGs of FSTDs or complete a required course.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard simulator maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation.
• Carry out site acceptance tests and implement updates and repairs.
• Update maintenance records and assist with equipment installation and checkout modifications.
• Apply technical knowledge to interpret drawings and manuals for fault diagnosis.
• Monitor simulator performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
