Job summary

Avion Flight Training Centre UK in London Luton Airport is seeking a skilled Flight Simulator Technician to maintain the Avion A320 FSTD and ensure 24/7 readiness. You will follow the maintenance manual, work under the Maintenance Manager, and may coordinate with external support for complex tasks.

Relevant experience with FSTD maintenance and QTGs is essential, and on-site rotation includes days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

The Flight Simulator Technician shall have relevant experience in maintenance tasks on FSTD.
You will receive maintenance training from a maintenance manager or a senior Flight Simulator Technician.
You have relevant experience running QTGs of FSTDs or must follow a course to fulfil this task.

Responsibilities

Perform standard maintenance tasks on Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) to ensure smooth operation.
Perform Site Acceptance Tests.
Carry out maintenance, modifications and/or repairs of FSTD in accordance with Regulatory Authority requirements and company standards.
Implement updates and repairs to enhance the performance of the FSTD.
Update maintenance data collection records and assist with equipment installation and check-out modifications.
Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documents.
Perform configuration changes to Simulators and FSTD, evaluate and confirm the proper post-change operation.
Monitor Simulator(s) performance and condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
