Job description

Flight Data Analyst

On site 5 days/Shift pattern

30,000 - 35,000 + Overtime

Capgemini are looking to recruit a Flight Data Analyst to join our team based in Brize Norton.

Job Purpose

Support the A400M maintenance by capturing and transferring into MDS (Maintenance Data System) the maintenance information generated by the Part 145 during a mission. This covers the period prior to the aircraft departure until coming back to the base, where weekly reports shall be produced and sent to the Part 145 to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out to meet the airworthiness standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Retrospective data entry on MDS which covers:
  2. Closing work orders.
  3. SRPs entry date and time as signed off by engineers.
  4. Creating and closing logbook entries.
  5. Opening ADFs and or OOPs.
  6. Inputting flight ground test data.
  7. Deferring logbook entry work order.
  8. Introduce servicing reports into MDS system.
  9. Perform equipment transactions.
  10. Send weekly reports to the Part 145 with the maintenance plan.
  11. Report and escalate any issues found in the system to the relevant individual.
  12. General administration tasks.

The team supports essential maintenance activities for all live flight events, supporting every calendar day with on-call responsibilities including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  1. Substantial working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  2. Methodical attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a team.
  4. Able to work under pressure.
  5. Ability to learn things quickly.
  6. Admin Tech Admin background desirable.
  7. Either currently hold Security Clearance or be eligible to become Security Cleared.
  8. Must hold a driving license.
  9. Must live less than 1 hour distance from Brize Norton.
  10. Good report writing skills.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  1. Experience with MDS.
  2. Aircraft maintenance experience inc. Part 145 and Part M is an advantage.
  3. Information or data management software tools experience.
