Job summary

Eurostampa UK in Cumbernauld, Scotland, is seeking an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain designated printing presses, ensuring safety, efficiency and top quality labels for premium brands.

The role covers setup, changeovers, quality checks, waste reduction, and collaboration with Print Assistants, with a rotating three-shift pattern and ongoing training opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility.

As part of our continued growth and investment in state-of-the-art production facilities, we are looking for an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join our skilled manufacturing team in Cumbernauld.

The Role

As a Flexographic Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining designated printing presses, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You'll play a key role in achieving production targets, reducing waste, supporting colleagues, and driving continuous improvement within the PSL Print Department.

What You'll Be Doing

Production & Quality

• Operating flexographic printing presses in line with job specifications and production schedules.
• Producing high-quality labels to exact customer requirements.
• Monitoring print quality throughout production runs and carrying out quality inspections.
• Troubleshooting print and production issues to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.
• Working a rotating treble shift pattern covering 36 hours per week

Continuous Improvement

• Achieve production, quality and waste reduction targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Support initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

Team Support

• Provide guidance and support to Print Assistants and colleagues.
• Share knowledge and best practice across the department.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.

Equipment Maintenance

• Carry out routine press care and planned maintenance activities.
• Record maintenance activity accurately.
• Report equipment issues promptly to minimise production disruption.

Health & Safety

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Support our commitment to quality, environmental standards and sustainability.
