Job summary

You will join Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre as a Conference Cleaner on a zero-hours basis. The role focuses on keeping public areas and meeting rooms spotless and welcoming for guests and delegates, with duties across corridors, toilets and communal spaces.

We offer £13.45 per hour plus benefits such as healthcare, wellbeing support, and generous annual leave. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays is required to support busy events.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
• Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
• A good eye for detail and a reliable, punctual approach are valued.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas throughout the conference centre to a high standard.
• Clean and prepare meeting and conference rooms, ensuring they are ready for guests and delegates.
• Keep corridors, offices, toilets and other communal areas clean, tidy and presentable.
• Ensure rooms and facilities are consistently clean, welcoming and safe.
• Replenish toiletries, cleaning products and other consumables as required.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requirements and requests from the Conference and Housekeeping teams.
• Support the Housekeeping and Conference teams during busy periods, conferences and events.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all cleaning, health and safety and COSHH procedures.
• Work as part of a team to maintain a professional and welcoming environment across the conference centre.
• Support other departments when required to help deliver a great experience for our guests and delegates.
