Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for flexible supply work in a welcoming primary school. This temporary role focuses on supporting pupils through KS2 as they prepare for SATs and the move to secondary education.

You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations, assess progress, and collaborate with staff. QTS required; KS2 experience preferred; DBS update service or willingness to obtain one; competitive daily pay and flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Year 6 teaching experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Be adaptable, reliable and able to hit the ground running.
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Support pupils in their preparation for SATs assessments.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where required.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
