Nexus Multi Academy Trust invites applications for a Teaching Assistant at Coppice School, Hatfield. The role is permanent, 31.25 hours per week, on NJC scales 4 to 6 with an actual salary range of £19,015 to £19,622. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking team and start in September 2026.

You will support pupils across classes, groups and 1:1, with safeguards around SEN and wellbeing, contributing to a positive school culture and learning environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEN is advantageous.
• Experience supporting pupils in class, groups and 1:1.

Responsibilities

• Support whole class lessons, group work and 1:1 with pupils.
• Respond to individual learning needs and promote safe learning environments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene needs as required.
• Help pupils celebrate progress and achievements.
