Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join us very soon on a FLEXIBLE basis in the Skegness area (PE25). Our schools are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day to day and long-term basis.

There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full- and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar educational support role in the UK.
• Genuine interest in helping children reach their full potential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
• Flexible and adaptable to diverse student needs.
• Basic administrative and organisational skills.
• Desirable Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
• Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
• Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
• Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
