Flexible Teaching Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
2. Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities
3. Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
4. Provide additional support to students with special educational needs
5. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
6. Participate in school events and activities
7. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
4. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
5. Basic understanding of the national curriculum
6. Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is a plus

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
