Job summary

Leicester City Council's Active Leicester service is seeking a Swim Teacher to deliver engaging swimming lessons across Leicester's leisure centres. The role offers daytime, evening and weekend hours with permanent and term-time options.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to deliver high levels of customer service to swimmers and guardians.
• Punctuality, time management and organisation to ensure each lesson runs smoothly, safely and progressively.
• Appointment subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leisure centre teams to deliver swimming lessons in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Teach a programme of instructed sessions, record weekly attendance and progression for each swimmer; comply with safeguarding, health & safety and training requirements.
• Provide feedback and direction to service users to promote a quality experience.
