Job summary

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide care across Taunton and surrounding areas. You will support children, young people and adults with learning disabilities in residential, community and domiciliary settings, helping them access community activities and build independence.

We offer flexible shifts, including short shifts and long days, with weekly pay and local opportunities. A full UK driving licence is preferred to enable travel between placements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of UK-based experience in health and social care.
• Strong communication skills and a caring, reliable approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and providing high-quality support.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children, young people, families and adults with learning disabilities across settings including residential homes, supported living, community support, family contact supervision and domiciliary care.
• Help individuals access their community, develop independence, enjoy activities or feel safe and supported at home.
