Job description

Job Title: Flexible Supply Teachers - September Start

Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £120 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different age groups and abilities
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans provided by regular teachers or create own lesson plans when necessary
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic progress
Required Qualifications:
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Experience working as a teacher or teaching assistant
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Good organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
  • Experience working with SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
