Job summary

Tesco is hiring in-store colleagues to join our inclusive team. You’ll deliver friendly service, handle transactions, assist with shelf replenishment and online orders, and help customers with a smile.

Hours vary with a minimum of 16 per week; roles from 12 hours exist. Starting pay is £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with benefits including holiday, discount, and pension.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK; meet school leaver age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, natural service and get to know customers.
• Be confident with Tesco products and services and offer help when needed.
• Support across the store: shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Make customer-focused decisions and complete key store routines.
• Understand how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and store performance.
• Build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• Use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• Work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
