Kids Orchard Centre in Stourbridge area is hiring Short Breaks Support Workers to support children and young people aged 5–18 with EHCPs. You will provide meaningful short breaks, 4 hours every two weeks or 2 hours weekly, and arrange engaging activities.

You will drive a staff vehicle to collect the young person from home (1:1 requires full driving licence and Class 1 insurance; 2:1 driving desirable but not required). Breaks occur after school, evenings, weekends with holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with disabilities.
• Level 2 qualification (or working toward) in working with children and young people.
• Willingness to learn; full training provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 or 2:1 short breaks for EHCP pupils.
• Collect from home in a staff vehicle and arrange activities with families.
• Deliver engaging activities after school, evenings, weekends; holiday flexibility.
