Job summary

Co-op in the United Kingdom is seeking Customer Team Members to join a busy local store. You will help deliver friendly, helpful service, assist with post office or bakery duties as needed, and play a key role in making life easier for customers.

You will work on the shop floor and tills, keep shelves stocked, and promote Co-op Membership while supporting your community. Full training is provided and shifts include weekends and early/late hours.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over due to early/late shifts.
• No prior retail experience required; a customer service mindset is helpful.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers and help resolve issues.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.
• Handle shop floor duties and tills, supporting daily operations.
• Maintain shelves, check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and compliant with policies and regulations.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local communities.
• Demonstrate genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Be flexible across a number of shifts and work as part of a team.
