Job summary

MedicsPro Ltd. is seeking experienced Anaesthetic Nurses (Band 5/6) with NHS experience for flexible shifts or full-time agency work in Colchester.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 07.30am–18.00pm, offering variety and the chance to work across different hospital environments. You will join a dedicated team supporting consultant anaesthetists, monitoring patients, administering analgesia, and ensuring safe, high-quality care before, during, and after anaesthesia procedures.

Qualifications

• NHS anaesthetic experience is required or recent NHS exposure.
• Registered nurse with anaesthetic scope and duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinicians to ensure patient safety during anaesthesia.
• Monitor patients undergoing local anaesthetic procedures.
• Carry out anaesthetic orders and escalate major issues to the anaesthetist.
