Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Flexible Agency Work
Location: Preston & Blackpool
Salary: £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible / Supply / Agency Basis
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want the freedom to choose when and where you work, while making a real difference in the classroom?

We're currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, agency basis across a variety of primary and secondary schools in the Preston and Blackpool areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.

  • Assist with implementing EHCPs and tailored learning plans.

  • Encourage pupil engagement and independence in learning.

  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or care settings welcome).

  • A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and settings.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
