Aspire People Limited is recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible agency roles in St Albans and surrounding areas.

Support children with SEND, one-to-one and small groups, assist class teachers, and help create inclusive learning environments. Roles offered on ad hoc, day-to-day basis with start ASAP.

Ideal candidates have SEND experience, patient and reliable attitude, and willingness to travel to local schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is essential.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Willing to accept ad hoc assignments.
• Ability to travel to St Albans and surrounding areas.
• Experience with autism/ADHD or sensory/complex needs encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning objectives.
• Supporting pupils' communication, confidence and independence.
• Helping maintain a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapting your approach to meet individual pupil needs.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and behaviour management expectations.
