Supply Teachers with SEN Experience – Flexible Teaching Roles Starting September 2025

Location: Wigan, Warrington & Surrounding Areas
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: Competitive Daily Rates (in line with MPS/UPS)
Contract Options: Full-Time/Part-Time/Day-to-Day roles

Are you a qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with special educational needs? Would you like the flexibility to shape your own teaching schedule, while making a real difference in inclusive classrooms?

We're working with a network of primary schools across Wigan, Warrington and surrounding areas, who are looking for supply teachers with SEN expertise to join their teams from September 2025. Whether you’re seeking full-time consistency or occasional days to suit your availability, we’ll help you find the right fit.

The Role Will Involve:

  • Teaching across different year groups in mainstream or SEN-focused settings.
  • Providing additional support to pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
  • Adapting lessons and teaching strategies to support individual pupil progress.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and support staff.
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with children with additional or complex needs.
  • A caring, flexible approach and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
