Job summary

Bank Student Support Worker role in Manchester, within South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, provides one-to-one support to interns with SEN in workplace and classroom settings. You will work across local sites, support learning with tailored tasks, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with area managers, tutors and mentors to monitor

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with learners who have learning disabilities and experience in supporting education of interns with SEN in the classroom.
• Passion for helping interns with SEN reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to SEN interns in classroom and placement settings.
• Deliver differentiated activities with individual interns.
• Support development of social/emotional skills of the interns.
• Monitor progress with Area Manager, Coordinator, Tutors and Mentors.
• Report information effectively to the Area Manager and Mentor.
• Ensure safeguarding policy and procedures are followed.
