Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Self-Employed Associate Electrical Trainer to assess City & Guilds electrical qualifications for service leavers at the Aldershot Resettlement Training Centre. You will deliver or assess tasks, plan ahead with quarterly resourcing, and may teach courses such as 18th edition and 2365/2391 modules.

The role offers a flexible schedule with a few days of assessment work per week and occasional full-time blocks. Prior teaching or training qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience delivering/assessing Electrical Engineering training.
• Ideally a teaching or training qualification.
• Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional and adaptable to ensure consistent delivery across trainers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical training to learners in an engaging and effective manner.
• Assist Head of Engineering with annual course planning and programme changes.
• Support exam/assessment administration including invigilation.
• Maintain a professional training environment and ensure facilities meet needs.
