Job summary

Hoop Recruitment LTD in Caerphilly is urgently seeking Teaching Assistants for flexible daily work. Daily pay from £88.92 and PAYE only, with the freedom to choose when and where you work.

You will support teachers and pupils in secondary classrooms, assist with lesson delivery, and help learners stay engaged in a calm, inclusive environment. DBS and EWC registration are expected, with a £100 refer-a-friend bonus and ongoing training offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of experience working with children or vulnerable adults (references required).
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to apply).
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (or willingness to register).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and passion for supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and pupils within secondary school classrooms.
• Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Support pupils’ learning, confidence, and engagement.
• Promote a positive, calm, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Work alongside teachers and other support staff.
• Support pupil learning, well-being, and development.
