Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Sheffield is seeking a Secondary School Teacher to deliver engaging, curriculum-led lessons across a range of subjects within a values-led Multi-Academy Trust. The role supports pupils’ academic, social and emotional development in a dynamic secondary setting.

The position offers flexible day-to-day or part-time teaching assignments, with safeguarding and DBS checks in place. Successful applicants will hold QTS and UK secondary teaching experience.

Qualifications

QTS and UK secondary school experience.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Knowledge of the secondary National Curriculum and assessment expectations.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.
Use effective classroom and behaviour management strategies.
Support pupils’ progress, wellbeing and confidence in learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and families.
Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
